A note from the founder
Why we started writing.
I got tired of review sites that scored a game 9/10 the week a publisher bought a banner ad. Nova Battle Frontier began as a Discord thread among five friends in Shoreditch who wanted honest, patient writing about the games we actually put hours into.
Today we publish three deep pieces a week — a competitive meta breakdown, a hardware teardown, and one long read on the people and studios behind the games. Everything is played to completion, tested on our own rigs, and paid for by readers, not brands.

How we cover a game
A four-step process behind every post.

Play to the credits
Minimum 20 logged hours, campaign finished or ranked reset reached. No first-impression scores dressed up as reviews.

Bench the hardware
Frame times, 1% lows and thermals measured on three reference rigs — budget, mid and enthusiast — so numbers mean something.

Cross-check the meta
We pull match data and talk to ranked players before calling a build strong or a nerf overdue. Opinions get sourced.

Publish & update
Every review carries a patch log. When a game changes, so does our verdict — dated and public, never quietly edited.
